Alaskan Professional Pilot Instruction — From Private Pilot to ATP in Kenai, Alaska

Professionally offering everything from Private Pilot training in our Cessna 172s to ATP training in our Piper Geronimo, we provide structured, standards-based programs tailored to each student’s goals. Our curriculum integrates proven teaching methods and data-driven progress tracking to ensure measurable skill development, continuous improvement, and readiness for commercial operations in Alaska’s demanding environment and beyond.

  • We offer a range of Part 61 courses designed to meet your needs—whether you are just getting started in aviation or you are working towards higher ratings. Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

    • Cessna 172 Rental: $190/hour

    • Flight Instruction: $70/hour

    • Piper Geronimo Multi-Engine: $400/hour

    • Multi-Engine/ ATP Instruction: $75

    • We do offer block rates for our Cessna 172s. If you put $2500 down on an account, you receive $10 off per hour for the airplane rental. This saves a few hundred dollars per block, because the Kenai Tax Cap is $30. You may also put a block down for multi. However, there is no rental discount.

    • We charge a 3% card fee for all card transactions.

    • If required, there may be fuel surcharges. However, all rentals are currently a wet rate.

  • At Peninsula Flight Academy, we continue to fly throughout the winter. We teach cold weather operations and how to safely navigate winter conditions.
